Toronto police say that a young child was narrowly missed by a bullet Monday night.
Shots rang out just before 9 p.m. near Pape and Withrow Aves.
Investigators say a 20-year-old man was parked when another man approached the driver's side window and fired into the vehicle.
The driver was hit by bullets, while they also narrowly missed a child under the age of five who was also in the car.
The suspect is described as a possible teenager, black, with a dark complexion, 5'5"-5'6", thin build, skinny face, clean-shaven, pointy chin, small thin lips.
He was wearing dark pants, a black bubble vest or jacket, red straight-brimmed hat with a hood and possibly white shoes.
The man was last seen in a silver SUV with tinted windows, travelling southbound on Pape Ave.
