Peel Regional Police are likely dealing with two fatal pedestrian-involved collisions in Mississauga Friday night, one a possible hit and run.
Both happened shortly before 8 p.m., including a body being found in the area of Dundas St. and Summerville Court on a sidewalk.
CP24 reports the victim was a 54-year-old man and was a client at the Fort York Motel, according to witness Vikas Patel who called police after spotting the body.
"You could tell he was in trauma, there was no way, I didn't think he was alive at all," he said. "I was terrified just looking at the body."
Police are currently treating it as a vehicle failing to remain.
Any witnesses or those with video are being asked to come forward.
A 65-year-old woman is also dead after getting hit by a vehicle.
That collision happened at the intersection of Winston Churchill Blvd. and Duncairn Drive, causing road closures.
The pedestrian was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead about an hour later.
The driver in that incident remained on scene.
