York Police are dealing with something of a mystery.
Who would torch a multi-million dollar private jet, and why?
Fire crews were called to Buttonville Airport Thursday night where a Dassault Falcoln 50 jet went up in flames.
Police found a hole in a chain-link fence and footprints in the snow. They says someone had broken in to the cabin door.
Police aren't sure what the motive might be. They say this plane has been parked at Buttonville since October.
The owner is co-operating with police.
The plane, potentially worth millions of dollars, was completely destroyed.
Police say this plane was built in 1980 but an equivalent plane, bought today, would be worth about $21 million.
