The province has extended all COVID-19 emergency orders until June 30.
"Even though we're seeing decreasing infection rates with increased testing levels, we can't let our guard down just yet. We need to keep these emergency measures in place to support our frontline heroes and we must all continue following the public health advice, so we can reopen more of the province safely and gradually," Premier Doug Ford said in a news release.
Last week, the government announced that many regions across the province could move on to Stage 2 of reopening, though Toronto and Peel remain in Stage 1.
They also allowed social gatherings of up to 10 people in all parts of the province.
June 30th is also the date the province's state of emergency is set to expire, though it and the emergency orders could be extended.
