Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for parts of the GTA.
The warning covers Toronto, Brampton, Markham, Mississauga, Richmond Hill and Vaughan. The agency says 50-60 mm of localized rainfall is possible.
A special weather statement has been issued for all of the GTA. Areas not under a rainfall warning could see 20-40 mm of rain.
Forecasters expect to conditions to improve quickly this afternoon as storm systems move out of the region.
