Nav Bhatia isn't joking.
"The fans want to do it, players want to do it and God wants to do it," he said just before his plane takes off for Milwaukee. "You saw why God wants to do it."
'It' he means is the Raptors moving on to the NBA Finals, even if it requires divine intervention.
It won't be easy as the Raptors lack home court advantage in the series and are going up against a Bucks team who had the best record in the regular season.
And if the Raptors were to drop Game 2 this evening, the odds would be greatly against them.
Of the 282 teams that have been down 0-2 in a seven-game series, only 20 have come back to win.
But if you're dwelling in negativity, Bhatia has no time for you.
And he saw it in person in Game 1.
"It was frustrating but you know what, we're going to correct all that, let's not talk negative for that game, that's done," he said. "We lost the battle, but not the war."
Bhatia's dedication to the team is well-established.
Aside from his work of running several GTA car dealerships, Bhatia has not missed a single Raptors home game since they started in 1995.
With the opportunity to make their first NBA Finals, Bhatia isn't messing around.
Despite having to fly back to Toronto for several interviews and his day job, Bhatia was back on a plane Friday afternoon on the way back to Wisconsin.
It's a dedication he once joked on Raptors forward Danny Green's podcast leaves his marriage 'hanging by a thread."
But remember Bhatia believes something supernatural is at play.
"Because that ball went, hit the rim four times and it went in the bucket," he said of Kawhi Leonard's Game 7 winner against Philadelphia.
Bhatia's dedication over 24 years has won him not just admiration from players and fans, but recognition from entertainers and the NBA as a whole.
Just take a look at his Instagram.
Along with his pictures with Drake, the Weeknd, J. Cole and 2 Chainz, you'll see his post from being invited to the Hall of Fame induction announcements in Minnesota.
But for Bhatia, it all comes back to the Raptors and their fans.
"We're going to win this game and everywhere where the fans are watching the game today, make sure, cheer on our team."
