Now that the 2018 provincial election is in the history books, the City of Toronto is reminding residents to remove their election signs from front lawns, balconies and windows.
Those with signs have a total of 72 hours to stash them out of site from the time that voting is completed, meaning that the deadline for the current election is 9 p.m. Sunday.
Residents can recycle the signs at certain City of Toronto drop-off depots for the next little while, although the city doesn't say when it will stop accepting them.
Officials warn, however, that the signs should be placed in blue bins, as they cannot be recycled in the conventional way.
For the next election - the October 22 municipal election - residents can start putting your signs out on September 27.
