Premier Doug Ford has stressed that no one should be evicted during the crisis just because they can't pay. Evictions are on hold right now in Ontario, as the Landlord and Tenant Board has suspended hearings during the pandemic.
The province's website suggests landlord and tenants should work together to make arrangements.
