By now, you've probably seen the Ford government's carbon tax stickers on the gas pump.
You may also have noticed that some have been ripped off.
According to one report, the problem is the adhesive. It's the wrong kind.
A source in the petroleum industry tells the Toronto Star that the government got the wrong stickers, ones that are designed for indoors with an adhesive that is supposed to be used on metal surfaces.
Gas pumps though, are covered in a vinyl coating.
It means some gas station owners have been scrambling to order more, worried they may be fined over the peeled off stickers.
The energy minister's office tells the Star the company hired to print the stickers met the specifications for an outdoor sticker with an aggressive adhesive.
They say they're keeping an eye on this issue.
