A teenaged boy is dead and there are suggestions that he may have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Bullets flew at about 3 p.m. Monday outside a gas station at Markham Road and Ellesmere.
The teen was hit. He was taken to hospital but he didn't make it.
It's unclear whether the teen was the intended target.
CP24 reports there are suggestions the shooting may have started with some kind of dispute between two other people and that the boy was caught in the cross fire.
That has not been confirmed by police.
A man was arrested about 20 minutes after the shooting.
