The domestic assault case against former Blue Jays' pitcher, Roberto Osuna, was back in court today.
The 23-year-old was arrested and charged in May. The next month he was suspended by Major League Baseball for 75 games. Toronto has since traded him to the Houston Astros.
The matter has been adjourned to September 19th at the Old City Hall court house.
His lawyer, who appeared on Osuna's behalf, says talks are ongoing with the Crown in hopes of reaching a resolution.
The Astros will be in Toronto September 24-26.
