Another group of school support staff have voted in favour of strike action if a deal cannot be reached with the province.
These workers are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and belong to eight school boards across Ontario.
That includes the Peel public and Catholic boards and the York Region District School Board.
The workers have voted 96 percent in favour of a strike.
They include educational assistants, office staff, some early childhood educators and IT staff.
The vote does not guarantee a strike. The two sides are still talking.
