The search will continue Saturday for an Orangeville boy who was torn from his mother's arms in the midst of floodwaters along the Grand River last month
Kaden Young, 3, was in a car with his mother on February 21 when the van she was driving was swept away.
She attempted to save the boy but was unable to do so.
The community has come together ever since and volunteers have searched for the boy througout the week, but local OPP say the current ground conditions due to the cold weather make it difficult.
The volunteers plan to meet this weekend at Kaden's family's house in the village of Waldemar, and then continue to search, with the hope they can bring the family some closure.
