York Regional Police say a second arrest has been made in the kidnapping of Wanzhen Lu.
They say a 33-year-old man was arrested in a raid at a home in Brampton yesterday. They are not releasing his name until he appears in court and charges are laid.
It was on March 23rd, Lu was seen on surveillance video in the garage of his Markham condo. Police say he was tased and shoved into a van.
He was found three days later when he knocked on the door of a home near Gravenhurst.
Police revealed to NEWSTALK 1010 yesterday that a ransom demand had been made but provided no other details.
The first suspect, Abdullahi Adan, remains in police custody.
Police are still urging two others to get a lawyer and turn themselves in.
