Health authorities say Canada's second case of the novel coronavirus has been confirmed.
The woman had recently travelled to Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak, which is now spreading around the globe.
Her husband was the first case confirmed in Canada.
Toronto's chief medical officer of health says officials have communicated with most people who may have had close contact with the affected couple.
Doctor Eileen de Villa says the ability to reach the relevant people is a sign the system is working, and she stresses the risk of picking up the illness in Canada remains low.
Meanwhile, health officials in British Columbia say a man in his 40s is presumed to have coronavirus and is doing well as he recovers at home.
China has confirmed more than 45-hundred cases of the new form of coronavirus, with at least 106 deaths.
