Police have charged an Oakville man in a shooting that happened last year, which left two people dead and three others injured.
33-year-old Jahmal Richardson was arrested on Thursday, February 16th. That's almost a year after police made the first arrest in the case.
The shooting happened outside of a restaurant in the Spadina Avenue and Nassau Street area, around 3:15 on the morning of January 31st, 2016.
Police said at the time, bullets started to fly after an altercation between a group of men.
One person died at the scene, while a second person was pronounced dead in hospital later on. In all, four others were treated in hospital for various injuries.
Richardson now faces charges of two counts of second degree murder, and three counts of attempted murder.
Those are the same charges 25-year-old Kyle Sparks-MacKinnon faces, after he was arrested last February.
