It was an unbelievable story when you first heard it last week, but now there's a shocking new update.
Toronto Police say they have arrested a second person in connection with the alleged poisoning of a manager of a downtown car dealership.
Cops say Szilard Czippan, 20, was arrested in Belleville, just before 5pm on Friday, after someone spotted the vehicle he was driving, and they believed the operator to be drunk.
Czippan was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, and was returned to Toronto to face charges of attempted murder and administering a noxious substance.
The Toronto man appeared in court on the weekend.
Police say it was at the BMW dealership on Eastern Ave at the DVP, on Tuesday, September 4th, when the manager was seen on surveilance video taking a drink from his water bottle.
Const. Jenifferjit Sidhu tells NEWSTALK 1010 surveillance video from the dealership allegedly shows two men taking the water bottle in question from a common area, filling it with what police believe to be engine coolant and returning the bottle to its original location.
The first suspect was arrested at the dealership on Thursday, September 6th and charged with administering a noxious substance.
Czippan will answer to the impaired charges in Belleville on September 27th.
