A second person has been charged after a man was found dead in a car in Richmond Hill last week.
Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit have charged 22 year old Brandon Hudson of Richmond Hill, with First Degree Murder along with other charges in the death of 22 year old Mathew Arcara.
Arcara's body was found by police inside a vehicle on a Court in Richmond Hill last Thursday morning.
Investigators believe that Hudson, along with Arjuna Paramsothy, the first suspect arrested and charged in the murder of Arcara, were also involved in a downtown Toronto condo home invasion where two adult male occupants were tied up and robbed and the victim’s dog was killed.
The two victims in the home invasion were not physically injured.
Hudson is being held in custody and will appear again before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 1st.
The York Regional Police Homicide Unit would like to thank the Toronto Police Service 52 Division first responders, Hold Up and Criminal Investigations Bureau for their assistance in helping to secure these arrests in a timely manner.
