Peel Police have issued a second Canada-wide warrant in relation to the beating of an Autistic man in Mississauga last week.
Three men were caught on surveillance video punching and kicking the 29-year-old victim as he was putting on inline skates inside the Square One bus terminal.
This morning police issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for 25-year-old Ronjot Singh Dhami. His lawyer tells our sister station CP24 that Dhami will be turning himself in. "He was surprised to see his picture on the TV that he's wanted for this assault," Jag Vurk says. "All I can say, at this time, is that he fully maintains his innocence."
The second suspect wanted by police is 21-year-old Parmvir Singh Chahil. He's of no fixed address and it's not known if he's in the GTA.
Police say they have been flooded with tips but can't give exact details on how Chahil was put on their radar.
Both men are wanted on a charge of aggravated assault.
The third suspect hasn't been identified, yet, but may go by the name Jason.
