Toronto Public Health sending out a news release this afternoon, notifying staff and patrons who visited the Yonge Street Warehouse restaurant about a potential exposure to COVID-19.
In the last few days, tests have confirmed that 7 people linked to the establishment have tested positive for COVID-19. Five are employees, two are patrons.
TPH has followed up with all known close contacts. They've been asked to self-isolate for 14 days and go for testing.
If you were at the Yonge Street Warehouse - at 336 Yonge Street - between September 10 to 17, but have not been contacted by TPH, you are not identified as a close contact. You are considered to be at low risk.
TPH estimates approximately 1,700 people may have been at the venue during that period.
As a precaution, they are asking anyone who was at the Yonge Street Warehouse between September 10 and September 17 to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days after their visit.
