Two people were taken to hospital after a shooting at a Niagara Falls hotel early Sunday morning.
Niagara Regional Police say it happened around 3:30 a.m. in the Lundy's Lane and Kalar Road area.
Officers were at the hotel for an unrelated investigation when someone told them about an robbery in one of the rooms.
Shortly after getting that information officers heard a gunshot. The officers on the scene as well as numerous other officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service went to the room.
They found two males with serious gunshot wounds. They were taken to hospital.
Police executed a "high risk" arrest of three people from the room and two firearms were recovered from the room.
Detectives believe this was a targeted incident and no other suspects are outstanding.
