Police say a man found with gunshot wounds after gunfire was reported at the Polson Pier entertainment complex on Toronto's waterfront is no longer in life-threatening condition.
Police say officers responded to reports of gunfire on Saturday night and shell casings were found in a parking lot.
They say the man suffering from gunshot wounds was found about two kilometres from the scene near Adelaide and Sherbourne.
A male witness of the gunfire spoke to CP24 Saturday night.
" All of a sudden you heard this pop pop pop from the parking lot. People were confused for a second like is it firecrackers or something, then people started screaming from the parking lot and cars started backing into each other trying to get out."
Officers took the man to hospital for treatment after performing CPR on scene.
They say there were reports of multiple gunshots.
No suspect information has been released. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Toronto Police or Crime Stoppers.
