Environment Canada is warning of a significant snowfall expected in the GTA tonight.
CTV meteorologist Tom Brown says the snow will start after 7 p.m., and intensify around 8:30 p.m.
A snowfall warning has been issued for Newmarket, northern York region, and northern Durham region, which could see 15 to 20 cm of snow.
The rest of the GTA is expecting 5 to 10 cm.
On Saturday morning, there is a risk the snow could change to freezing rain before it shifts over to rain in the afternoon.
