The province's Special Investigations Unit has been called to an apartment building on Weston Road near Highway 401.
Police say a person was found on a driveway near the building and he or she may have fallen from a balcony.
The condition of the person is not known.
The S.I.U. is called in when incidents involving police result in death, serious injury, or allegations of sexual assault.
