Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 30-year-old Toronto man.
The SIU says police were looking for a person at a building at 1775 Weston Road around 9 p.m Saturday.
The officers knocked on the door of a unit in the apartment.
Shortly after that, a man fell from the unit to the ground below and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to investigate this incident.
The SIU is urging anyone who may have information to call 1-800-787-8529.
It is also asking anyone who may have any video evidence related to this incident to upload that video through the SIU website.
The SIU is an arm’s length agency that investigates reports involving police where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
