There won't be any charges for the two officers who engaged the Danforth Shooter, in a shootout on that fateful night on July 22nd.
The provincial Special Investigations Unit has completed their probe into what ended the shooting along the Danforth.
The report shows that Faisal Hussain was shooting into a patio filled with people at 7numbers on Danforth near Bowden Street. That's where police engaged him, and he turned his gun on the officers.
Two Toronto Police officers returned fire, one of them shooting out the rear window of the police cruiser.
Just minutes after that shootout, police found the body of Hussain, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The autopsy report says he shot himself in the right side of the head, killing himself instantly.
A loaded .40 calibre handgun was found next to his body, along with two fully-loaded magazines of ammunition. In all, investigators found five loaded magzines of ammunition.
