York University's contract instructors - including course directors, teaching assistants and non-full time graduate student instructors - have voted to ratify an agreement with the school.
More than 1,000 of these workers, members of CUPE 3903 unit 2, will head back to class as soon as they are needed.
CUPE 3903 units 1 and 3 have not ratified an agreement and remain off the job, saying in a news release "we cannot accept precarious work and the decline of academic integrity at York."
"We will continue to work toward a fair contract."
Strike action began 15 weeks ago on March 5.
CUPE 3903 says each unit negotiates their own collective agreement.
