The 32nd annual St. Patrick's day parade hit the streets of Toronto,one week before the actual date celebrating the feast of St. Patrick.
The parade kicked off at noon from Bloor and St. George, continued along Bloor, south on Yonge then west on Queen Street, wrapping up at Nathan Phillips Square.
It featured over 5,000 participants and 120 groups.
Road closures were in effect until about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
