Provincial Health Minister Christine Elliot has announced that 60 pharmacies will start offering COVID-19 testing, starting on Friday.
Those tests will be by appointment only, and will only be for those who aren't showing any symptoms.
If you show symptoms of COVID-19, you still must get tested at one of the 150 assessment centres.
The province also announced Women's College, Mount Sinai and University Health Network―Toronto Western Hospital assessment centres will be offering saliva testing this week.
That's considered a less invasive test, compared to the nasal swab in wide-spread use across the province.
