Durham Regional Police have a 16-year-old girl in custody, in a stabbing at Pine Ridge Secondary School in Pickering.
They say it happened around 1:30, near the main entrance of the school.
A 16-year-old girl was stabbed in the upper torso, and was taken to hospital. A staff member was also hurt, but was treated at the scene.
Police aren't looking for any other suspects
