The Toronto police are looking for a man who punched a woman in the face when she questioned him in the Annex.
On Tuesday, November 29 at 9:56 p.m., the 38-year-old woman was returning home in the Walmer Road and Bloor Street West area.
As she approached the front door she noticed a man standing in front of her building.
The man followed her into the lobby and waited for her to use her security fob to open the inner door of the building, but the woman stopped him and asked if he lived there.
That's when the man punched her in the face and ran.
He is described as black, approximately 5'8'', with a thin build and large bulgy eyes. He was wearing black Nike pants and shoes, black hooded sweater and toque
Police say similar incidents have been reported in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call them or Crime Stoppers.
