A 23-year old man faces charges in connection with last weekend's deadly hit-and-run crash in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say the 30-year old woman who was killed was newly married, and was riding in the passenger seat as her husband drove toward the intersection of Highway 50 and Castlemore Rd. in the early hours of last Sunday.
The husband was taken to hospital but is expected to recover.
Walid Wakeel of Nobelton turned himself in to investigators on Tuesday.
He faces four charges, including criminal negligence causing death and failing to remain at the scene of an accident causing bodily harm.
