The man suspected of carrying out the Danforth Avenue shooting rampage died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a family source who spoke with our media partner CTV.
Faisal Hussain was buried this morning.
The Special Investigations Unit hasn't confirmed, yet, whether he killed himself or if he died after being shot by police.
CTV and our other media partner CP24 are also reporting the gun used in Sunday's rampage originated from the United States and was allegedly stolen during a break-and-enter in Saskatoon.
A police source tells CTV that Hussain's father was allegedly arrested in Saskatoon on drug charges around the same time as the break-and-enter.
Again, none of this has been confirmed by officials.
