Police have closed off the Queen subway station after a suspicious pacakge was found just before 10 o'clock on Monday morning.
Queen was closed off between Yonge and James to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Officers would only describe the packages as "bags" and say there's no threat attached to them.
Several of the south entrances to the Eaton Centre have also been blocked off.
This isn't far from where tens of thousands of people have gathered to watch the ending of the Toronto Raptors championship parade, at Nathan Phillips Square. Officers say this shouldn't affect the square or the parade itself.
The area was cleared in less than an hour.
