Some staff and students at York University are on edge after they reported finding swastikas scrawled on a wall in a classroom at the Keele Campus.
Police say they found the 'hate graffiti' on Monday.
As of right now, Constable Jen Sidhu with Toronto Police says there's nothing to indicate this is a hate crime.
"It's an on-going investigation, but it wasn't a swastika drawn in the correct format, or what a swastika should look like. There is an investigation going on, but at this time it's considered a mischief." says Sidhu.
She adds there was no damage done to the building.
When asked if there was any other messages left in the classroom, Sidhu told NEWSTALK1010 there wasn't.
