The 24th annual Taste of the Danforth is in full swing this weekend.
Canada’s largest street Festival features food, fun, dancing and music and is expected to be attended by 1.65 million people over the three days.
There are road closures for the event:
Danforth Avenue from Broadview Avenue to Jones Avenue.
Pape Avenue from Lipton Avenue to Hazelwood Avenue.
Logan Avenue from Garnock Avenue to the north side of the laneway north of Danforth Avenue.
Closures are in effect until Monday at 3 a.m.
The Feast of St. Lawrence shuts down Front Street.
More than 150 vendors will be set up Friday to Sunday.
Front Street is closed from Scott Street to Church Street this weekend. Market Street is closed from Front Street to Wilton Street on Saturday.
A celebration of Caribbean culture takes over Centennial park this week.
16th annual Jerkfest kicks off Friday.
Music, fun and of course food can be found until Sunday at 10 p.m.
There is also a subway closure this weekend. no service between Sheppard West and St. George stations Saturday and Sunday for ongoing signal work.
The TTC says shuttle buses will only be running between Sheppard West and Lawrence West stations due to numerous construction projects along the line.
