Those kids with their new fangled gadgets, they're dragging down the TDSB system.
The school board says they have blocked all access to Snapchat, Instagram and Netflix while using the in-school Wi-Fi.
Officials say the sites were slowing down their network.
It was teachers who complained to the board that the network had slowed down so much that they were having tgrouble completing operational tasks, such as attendance, registration and report cards.
The three sites specifically, will be blocked on June 30th, until the end of this school year.
Sorry TDSB fam, you can't use Snapchat, Instagram or Netflix on wifi until June 30, our network just can't handle it:https://t.co/Xwe1O5RsWY pic.twitter.com/0md8TPiHFH

It would seem though, that some students have already figured out a work-around.
Update: all the students have downloaded VPNs to circumvent the blocking of Snap & IG. Too bad they arent that clever about studying. #TDSB
