"Hate has no place in Brooklyn, NYC, or America," wrote the Beastie Boys on twitter after the memorial park in honour of late member Adam Yauch was vandalized.
People heading to the park Friday found it spray-painted with swastikas and the words "Go Trump".
The graffiti has been covered up and the New York City Police Department and Parks Department are investigating.
The band tweeted a flyer for a rally Sunday.
