The Distillery District's wildly popular Toronto Christmas Market gets into the holiday spirit on Thursday.
Now in its eighth festive season, the market features unique gifts and food, heated beer and mulled wine gardens and entertainment. Its centrepiece is a 50 foot spruce festooned with more than 40,000.
The market runs Tuesdays through Sundays. While there is no cost to visit the market during the week, admission on the weekend will cost you $6 starting at 5 p.m. on Fridays with net proceeds going to charities including the Daily Bread Food Bank. Children under age two can get in for free.
You can also pay $20 and bypass any wait to get into the market.
The Toronto Christmas Market runs until December 23.
