The missing brother of Canadian actress Kim Cattrall has been found dead.
55 year old Chris Cattrall had been reported missing after disappearing from his Lacombe, Alberta home 6 days ago.
The Blackfalds RCMP released a statement Sunday afternoon confirming the discovery of the missing man.
"Can confirm that he has been located on his property, deceased. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death will continue by the RCMP, but preliminary information indicates that his death is not being considered suspicious."
Earlier in the day the former Sex and the City star appealed to her fans to help her find her brother.
Cattrall confirmed her brother had left his home unlocked with his keys, wallet and phone inside. He had also left behind his his seven dogs.
The actress tweeted out the following statement. "It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. At this time we ask for privacy. We want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time."
The RCMP is investigating.
