Toronto Police say they're looking for a third suspect in connection to last weekend's brazen mid-afternoon shooting in the Beaches' neighbourhood.
They say John Okoro, 23, of Toronto, is facing a total of nine charges, including attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Okoro is described as male, black, approximately 5'10" to 5'11" tall, with long black dreadlocks.
On the afternoon of January 6 at about 2:30 p.m., police were called to Kingston Road and Woodbine for a shooting. The two victims then made their way south on Woodbine to Queen Street East, where they walked into a local business to ask for help. They were both taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Two other men were arrested at the scene. Rodrigues Sendia, 20, and Ajmain Rahman, 21, faces charges that include attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Sendia faces an additional charge of failing to comply with probation.
Investigators say it's quite possible that Okoro is receiving help in hiding from police, which is considered a criminal offence in itself.
He is considered violent, armed and dangerous and anyone who spots him is advised to call 911 immediately.
It's believed there was also a fourth male suspect who fled the scene after the shooting, but there's no word on a description at this time.
