A Toronto Police detective is one of 4 people facing with new charges in connection with a probe that started last January.
Det.-Const. Bryan Carreia is accused of sharing confidential police information.
He's charged with Breach of Public Trust by a Public Officer, and Obstruct Justice.
3 other people face charges related to the possession and trafficking of marijuana.
They are 38-year old Gordon Broadhead of Burlington, 50-year old Perry Coates of Innisfil, and 59-year old Michele Amoros of Toronto.
It was last week that charges were announced for two York Region cops and 5 other people.
