If you drove by a car in the 404 HOV lane around 9 a.m. Thursday and noticed something a little off about the passenger in the front seat police say it's because she was in fact a mannequin.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says officers on patrol in the area pulled the car over after they realized the passenger was plastic.
Schmidt says the mannequin was strapped in the passenger seat wearing sunglasses, a brown scarf and a comb in her hand.
Schmidt says though it's not illegal to transport mannequins in your vehicle, it is if you have them just to use the HOV lanes.
It's a $110 fine and three demerit points if you are caught improperly using the HOV lane.
Schmidts says it's not often they find a less than life-like passenger.
This doll will not provide much conversation and does not qualify you to drive in the HOV lane!!#CarPoolFail
