The 77th and final homicide of 2019 in Toronto now has some closure.
43-year-old Clinton Phil Williams, was shot and died as he walked into an underground parking garage, in the area of Neilson Road and Crow Trail, just after 6 p.m. on New Year's eve.
Monday afternoon, Toronto Police announced, that with the co-operation of Peel and Sarnia Police forces,they had arrested three suspects for the killing.
Two men from Toronto, a 33-year-old and 20-year-old, along with a 38-year-old from Sarnia, were all taken into custody and charged with First-Degree murder.
Two handguns were also seized during the arrests.
All three are scheduled to make an appearance in a Scarborough court room Tuesday.
