A trio of pedestrian struck accidents in Scarborough Wednesday night left one person dead.
A male pedestrian was struck and succumbed to his injuries, after being struck by a vehicle at around 8:15 p.m. on Howden Road, near Lawrence Avenue East.
Toronto Police attempted to administer CPR, but the victim was later pronounced at the scene.
An earlier pedestrian struck accident left a woman with serious injuries, after she was struck near McCowan and McNicoll Avenue just after 8 p.m.
She was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The third accident occurred near Ellesmere Road and Orton Park Road.
A woman was taken to hospital in serious condition.
The vehicle remained on scene.
The cause of all three crashes was under investigation.
