A local Toronto bar has decided to close its own doors for the next few days, as a precaution following a pair of positive COVID-19 results.
Crews & Tangos, a drag bar in the Church Street and Wellesley Street area, posted an Instagram message Friday night confirming that one customer and one performer, had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Both were at the bar on September 18th.
The bar was notified of the customer's positive test on September 23rd and two days later, found out about their own performer.
Management is urging anyone who was at the bar that night between 8:30 pm and 11 p.m, as well as September 19th and 20th, to get tested.
The bar will remain closed for the next 4 or 5 days for what management is calling "necessary things to ensure the safety of staff and patrons."
All other staff will be tested before returning to work.
