A single car accident near the 401 in Scarborough has claimed the life of a 20-year-old Toronto male.
The victim was ejected from his car as he attepted to enter the Westbound 401 collector lanes off the Warden Avenue on ramp at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police confirmed via twitter that the driver lost control of his vehicle and ended up in a grass ditch.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The OPP also confirmed that the driver only held a G1 license, which prevents drivers from being on roads between midnight and 5 a.m.
Both the on and off westbound ramps at Warden Avenue were closed during the investigation and cleanup before reopening at 8 a.m.
