Toronto man arrested for pretending to be a York cop

The man was allegedly asking people for money on social media
A Toronto man is facing charges after allegedly posing as a police officer online.
York Regional Police say 32-year-old Jason Yu, was posting photos of himself, dressed in a police uniform.
But officers say after befriending people on social media, he would ask them for money.
The first complaint was made on November 18th and police say it turns out, he's not a cop.
Yu was arretsed on Wednesday at his home in Scarboorugh. He's facing two counts of personating a peace officer.
