Toronto police were called to the Walpole Avenue and Greenwood Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Friday for a shooting.
It's alleged a woman was shot. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Later Friday morning the Emergency Task Force went a home in the Coxwell Avenue and Dundas Street East area and arrested a man in connection to the shooting.
A police release says 29-year-old Robert Chappell has been charged with:
1) Attempt Murder
2) Point Firearm
3) Careless Use of a Firearm
4) Possession of a Restricted or Prohibited Firearm
5) Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
6) Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
7) Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
8) Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound, Endanger Life
9) Discharge firearm being reckless as to the life and safety of another person
10) Assault with a weapon
11) Fail to Comply with Probation
He appeared in court December 2nd.
