After over a dozen shootings in recent days in Toronto, more violence Wednesday including a fatal stabbing and double shooting.
Shots rang out in Flemingdon Park during the day at a housing complex parking lot, with a playground nearby.
A dark blue car was left riddled with bullet holes and two men were seriously injured, one of them critically.
"This was not a random shooting, it was targeted," TPS Chief Mark Saunders said at the scene, urging people to bring whatever information they have. "Trust me, it adds a lot of relevance."
Two men in masks are believed to have fled in a black sedan.
Meanwhile, a man was stabbed to death in the neighbourhood of St. Clair Ave and Christie St.
One person has been arrested after police say the knife was pulled in some sort of fight.
